Katie Leikam, MBA, LCSW, LISW-CP, is a WPATH GEI certified gender specialist and mental health clinician with 12 years of experience working with the LGBTQIA, transgender and gender expansive communities. She works with her clients with gender identity, anxiety, autism, ADHD, relationship stress, family and religious trauma and coming out to others. She provides continuing education certifications to fellow clinicians through her in person and her online courses, The Clinician’s LGBTQ Learning Platform. She also trains treatment facilities throughout the nation on gender affirming mental healthcare. Katie has been quoted as an expert in publications such as Huffington Post, Bustle and Prevention magazine and featured on numerous podcasts. She is currently a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and South Carolina.
